Responsibilities

He currently manages the firm's Knowledge and Information function, ensuring that the firm's knowledge base is continually grown and best utilised to provide effective solutions for the firm's clients. He is responsible for both inter and intra branch information flow and has incorporated into the firm's processes, Client Relations Management (CRM) software to facilitate effective file handling and customer service in general.

Key Practice Areas

Practices corporate and commercial law litigation. He has wide litigation experience before the civil courts at all levels and, in addition, various statutory tribunals with varying prescribed roles. He has rendered opinions and litigated on matters involving bank security realisation, fraud and tracing of assets, shareholder disputes, inter bank transactions and revocability, public interest litigation, judicial review, personal injury claims, as well as matters before the constitutional court. He routinely handles family law matters, succession matters and employment disputes. He has consulted for international law firms on the legal process and judicial proceedings in Kenya and substantive laws of Kenya.

LL.B Hons (University of Manchester-UK), Postgraduate Diploma in International Business Law (University of Liverpool-UK), Postgraduate Diploma (Kenya School of Law).

N'cruba directs the professional development of the firms Financial Services Practice as the team leader in all matters related thereto including legal research, collecting and maintaining a data base of information on the legal developments in this practice area. He has carried out extensive research on payment systems, the regulation of capital market transactions and players, and the ever increasing impact of international cross-border trade and investment in the law of emerging markets.
